Mike Morgan, disability attorney, joined Parmele Law Firm in 2015, focusing his practice on disability advocacy in Kansas.

Before becoming a disability attorney with Parmele Law Firm, he began his career in 1970 as an assistant state attorney in Miami, Fla., before being appointed to division chief in 1973.

As lead counsel of the class action, he received a temporary injunction in 1990 preventing the implementation of a new regulation that reduced available services.

Although the case was later lost in 1993, the lawsuit continued the General Assistance program in Kansas that continued until terminated at the direction of governor Brownback.

Mike has served on the CLE committee of the Wichita Bar Association for fifteen years and has participated in a number of CLE programs in the areas of disability advocacy, Medicare and ethics on behalf of the Kansas Bar Association.
